LOVE MATCH FOLLOW UP! LOVE MATCH WORKS!

Dearest Beatrix,

You have made me so happy! I was surfing the web when my humans were at work and I came across the head bitch blog spot. Imagine my consternation, shock and then joy when I read that Kassie returns my affections!

I have loved her forever, but I did not want her to think I was some sort of masher by coming on too strong.. Sexual harassment charges would be so mortifying!

I was the one who jumped up to share her chair, but then I lost my nerve and hopped up on the  arm of the chair. She looked away and my hopes were dashed!

I suppose you think we are silly acting like seventh graders at the first ever dance. Boys and girls line up on either side of the gym and don't make eye contact there either or so I have been told.

This is one long distance romance that will not fade as the dog parents are besties. We get to visit several times a year. Won't be often enough for me.

I will be proposing at the earliest opportunity as soon as the freaking snow stops and we can get out of Philly!

Last but certainly not least is Gideon and Poppy! Gideon asked for a gal pal with long legs and spots and sweetness and well Poppy certainly has long legs and spots! Poppy asked for...well she asked for a lot and Gideon seems like the kind of dude who may not stick around too long so this LOVE MATCH may work out for everybody! This LOVE MATCH is also somewhat marred by an email leak that was discovered early this a.m. from Beatrix the Matchmaker to Gideon. We have a copy here:

Dear Gideon,
   Look dude you have to take her. I know she is high maintenance. I live with her so I know exactly what you are in for but look at it this way, she is a trophy setter. The boys at the dog park will be totally impressed with your eye candy. Just focus on what she actually focuses on 99% of the day...how pretty she is. Somebody had to get matched with her, it's just math, don't take it personally. I'm not saying she is dumb but let's just say you could go out with her once and pretend to give her your phone number and give her the local Chinese Restaurant's phone number and it will take her awhile to figure out you gave her the slip. Take one for the Lucky Fiona Team buddy.

LOVE MATCH #13 Scout & Gemma

Scout is a tail man and whoa, check out Gemma's! Sweet Gemma wanted spots and we dare say Scout has some of the sweetest dots we've ever seen. But this LOVE MATCH is all about learning from one another. Gemma can sometimes be a bit, how shall we say, um snarky. Scout has a chill zen vibe that rubs off on all those around him. Beatrix thinks these star crossed lovers could learn from each other and be one of the greatest LOVE MATCHES in history! While chasing squirrels and enjoying treats these two can show that love knows no bounderies and if Gemma gets a little pushy then Scout just needs to look at that tail again. Hubba, hubba.

LOVE MATCH #12 Huckleberry & Pixie

Huck and Pixie were an obvious LOVE MATCH as they are both have strong attachments with their Mommies and will probably be chaperoned on their first few dates whether they like it or not. Beatrix loved that they both have super long ears, perfect brown eyebrows and love to play outside. Pixie wants to teach Huckleberry how to catch snap peas in the air and he wants to make her a peanut butter sammie in the shape of a heart. If they can just ditch their Moms long enough to sneak a kiss Beatrix thinks it will be all fireworks for these two.

LOVE MATCH #11 Jeb & Beatrix

Beatrix really had her pick for her own LOVE MATCH and when it came to finding a man that made her heart go pitter pat she fell for Jeb. Sure they both have punk rock mohawks but this match goes so much deeper! Jeb has passion and that is what Bea is all about. She was also smitten with his freckly nose and deep soul searching eyes. Beatrix also wants to start learning how to compete in Barn Hunt trials and with Jeb's keen interest in Barn Cat eradication he could teach her a lot! Beatrix is a busy gal and Jeb's carefree attitude about playing the field appealed to this modern gal. Plus she has the sweetest smelling hiney ever thanks to her Green Tea and Bergamont Dog Spray. That sweet bum is a Jeb magnet! Love is in the air for the Matchmaker and this self described Sid Vicious.
