Are you looking for a casual or serious relationship? Explain: Serious even though my last ‘relationship’ did not end well (She fell for a Shefflette setter and that broke my heart :( Plus she is afraid of little dogs in sweaters and I have to wear those in the wintertime b/c I get cold). I want a furever kind of love and someone that will be true to me.

If you could date a human celebrity that turned into a canine who would it be? Tiffany Barto. She is so famous, she had to change her name to keep some privacy! 

Explain what makes your heart go pitter pat in another dog : They need to be fun, intelligent, patient (I am shy at first) and kind (just like Shannon, Kathy, and Holly). Someone who likes to have fun but enjoys quiet time as well. I would love someone to play with and nap with, and they need to realize that they need to be a little tender with me because I am only 5 lbs. I do not have a canine in my life but I have a few humans that I adore. Shannon, my Boo-Barry, is so smart and she gets me. Kathy makes me laugh and really makes me feel special. Holly is so cute (I love human gals in glasses) and she is really smart. All three have a lot in common…they are loving, caring, intelligent, funny, and they have great taste! However, they all live in places that get REALLY REALLY REALLY cold! I cannot handle the cold or snow deeper than an inch. I know their love (and coats) would keep me warm but love doesn’t help you potty in bad weather. I will always love them but I would like a four-legged lady in my life and it would be a dream if she lived somewhere warmer!

What attributes in a doggie partner are deal breakers?: Bullying, humping, and not sharing. My sister doesn’t share and it really bothers me.

Dream dog date: We would start the day with a long morning walk, followed by brunch and a nap. Then we would empty my toy basket and play with all my toys! My dad would be ready for a mid-morning nap so we could curl up on him and take one too. Then it is off to the yard to run as fast as we can and smell EVERYTHING! We would chase one another and play tug-o-war. If the date is going really well, and we are bonding…I will present her with a sock and a lick on the nose. Hopefully she will appreciate my grand gesture (and the sock) and kiss me back! *sigh*

Favorite place to spend time?:  I love to be outside .. Or on my moms bed.. I actually chewed the memory foam topper so I could make it more my bed.

So how can you find your dog love?

2014 Lucky Fiona Calendar Contest to benefit OESR

Lucky Fiona 2014 Calendar Contest

It's that time again! We get so many wonderful photos of your pooches in their Lucky Fiona creations we know there is an awesome calendar in the making! So let's create a 2014 calendar shall we? (and help a wonderful rescue along the way)

All $5 photo entries will be donated to Our English Setter Rescue which you all know is near and dear to the Head Bitch's heart. 

How to enter:

* Go to Lucky Fiona Shop Listing for Calendar Donation

Purchase an entry and submit your photo to info@luckyfiona.com One photo per entry please. Attach a cut and paste copy of purchased entry or simply an invoice number to photo when emailing. Be sure to include your name, email, the dog in photo and their breed and age. Put CALENDAR SUBMISSION in title line of email. Don't forget to attach the pic! 

Received entries with paid donations will be listed on the Lucky Fiona Flickr site

The 12 photos with the most individual comments will win a place in the 2014 calendar. *Comments must be from different individuals - so don't have the same 5 friends post comments daily to rack up the numbers! Pogue is onto that game and won't allow it. So don't try to cheat! 

Contest runs Wednesday November 27th through Friday December 6th at midnight. Calendar winners announced Saturday December 7th and calendars will be on sale for pre-order December 8th. 

Suggestions and rules I make every year that will be ignored! 

* Be sure the collar can be seen in the photo. It doesn't have to be the star (your dog is!) but it must be somewhat visible. Don't submit photos of dogs in other manufacturer's collars. I say this every year but it happens without fail. This is the Lucky Fiona Calendar contest. Those other collars can have their own dang photo calendar contest! So there. 

* LARGE format photos only. Those little bitty file photos will not reproduce when we go to get the calendar's printed without being all pixelated. We have had issues in the past where a photo wins and then we can't include it due to poor resolution. So big, big, big files. If taking a photo from your camera phone be sure it is on the largest possible file setting.

* Natural light photos with minimal distractions in the photo are always crowd pleasers. Not that I don't enjoy seeing that laundry basket behind your labrador (makes me feel like I am not the only one with laundry all over)but remember we want a clean and professional quality calendar. This will be sitting in people's work offices. Do you really want your dirty socks seen there?

* Sure people in the photo are allowed. But are they wearing a Lucky Fiona collar?
